Promotional Video commissioned by 'Stanley Services Limited' showcasing the side of the business local people don't often see. Working on a limited budget, the video's story-board, filming, editing and post production was done by Thomas Stockting. No voice over or music was paid for.

With the Falkland Islands becoming an increasingly attractive destination for bird-watchers around the world, FIH (Falkland Islands Holiday's) invited architect and 'tweeter' Tormod Amundson to visit the Islands. Tormod, who founded architectural company BIOTOPE, specialises in sustainably built watching shelters that benefit not only the watchers, but the co-existing wildlife too. Tormod's work can already been found across Europe, in stunning locations such as Iceland.

Since the Falkland War in 1982, where Argentine forces invaded the Islands, land mines have littered the landscape leaving massive areas of land and coastlines inaccessible. Now, nearly 40 years after the end of the war, one of the world's largest de-mining projects is coming to an end, with final minefield 'Yorke Bay' set to be cleared in 2020. In 2017, in order to protect the natural fauna of the expansive areas of grass land around the Capital, Stanley, the Falkland Islands Government introduced a new Commons Bill. This new bill resembles that of the 'National Trust' in the UK. But, just how much will it do for the areas such as Cape Pembroke.

Possession Day marks the anniversary of Captain James Cook discovering South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, 'possessing' them in the name of the King of England. With the islands' tight ties to the Falkland Islands we explored the history of this important anniversary.

During a very special open day, the British Royal Navy vessel, the HMS Clyde, opened up her gangways to the public. These open day's give the Falkland Islanders the opportunity to take a tour and meet some of the men and women operating the ship, which patrols the Falklands waters and acts as a deterrent to potential invaders. FITV reporter Thomas Stockting, took this opportunity to go aboard and witness their work first hand.
